There is a Satanic movement in our world today to erase the Name of Jesus Christ from all Countries, Nations and People of all tongues
The power of Satan and his underworld of darkness is strong and on the move.
He has infiltrated our Governments and Institutions of the whole world.
He hates God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
He hates each and everyone who calls on the name of Jesus Christ.
In the word of God, book of Peter, chapter 5, verse 8, it reads "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"
Every minute of every day, Satan is seeking opportunity to cause you and me to slip, stumble and in some way or manner fail to Honor and Glorify Christ as we should.
He is not willing to pass us by just because he cannot persuade you or me to commit what most people would call a major sin but he will settle for what often is referred to as a little sin.
These so called little sins are something like using bad language in the presence of others. Or maybe just get you or me to say a word silently to ourself when no one is around to hear us.
In addition, he will try his best to convience us that a slang word whispered here or there is not a bad thing because it allows us to vent our anger and frustraton at others or at our circumstances.
That is the reason God's Word warns us in James 3:5-10 "Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be."
So you see, if we are Children of God, we must be diligent at controlling our tongue from idle and useless words.
The old saying, "If you can't say anything good, don't say nothing at all" should be our controlling factor in keeping our speech in a right manner.
Satan delights when he hears you or me misuse our tongue and it becomes a little easier for him to tempt us to indulge in more harmful ways to dis-honor our Lord and Savoir.
Here are some things which our tongues can hinder us with.
God cannot bless us when we are unclean in our talk.
God cannot touch others when our talk in their presence does not glorify Him.
God cannot answer our prayers if our talk causes us to be out of step with Him.
AND you or I cannot bless or praise God when our talk is common to the world and not in fellowship with God.
